We are striving to improve access and facilities for all our visitors – not only those with disabilities, but the elderly, people traveling with babies or small children, and those who need step-free access. We are making improvements to many of our existing facilities, and our museum will incorporate more easy access facilities in the near future. You may look for assistance from our friendly staff in our information counter.

On the ground floor of the Museum, a playroom suitable for children of all ages was recently opened to the public. The playroom imitating the office of the Commander of British Forces in Hong Kong, offers an interesting way to learn about the history of the Flagstaff House through historical pictures, paintings and the pictorial album "Flagstaff House Through the Ages".

Sheung Yu Gift Shop

Located on the ground floor of the Museum, the Gift Shop offers visitors a wide selection of tea, tea ware and publications on the art of Chinese tea drinking, plus a diverse range of other products, including exhibition catalogues, postcards and VCDs.

Lock Cha Tea Shop

Located on the ground floor of The K.S. Lo Gallery, the Chinese Teahouse serves not only Chinese tea, but also holds tea demonstrations regularly. It provides visitors a place to enjoy a nice cup of tea after touring our galleries.
