Being installed in Po Hong Park, Tseung Kwan O since late May 2009, Gloria Yeung's outdoor sculpture, "Supersized Eyeglasses", conveys the artist's fascination with the sculptural characteristics of common object. Commissioning under the Public Art Scheme 2006 by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, she has made this sculpture inspired by eyeglasses, transforming the scale of this daily item and arranging it in an interactive manner that invites the park visitors to explore the fun of this public artwork.
Another newly installed artwork is also under the Public Art Scheme 2006, "Unfolding the Possible", is a pair of public artworks designed by Tim Li with collaboration of Choy Ka-fai. This pair of sculptures, modelling on "folding bed", which is flexible, convenient and economical, has been used by many people in Hong Kong for generations, symbolizes the "resilience and adaptability" of Hong Kong people. The "folding beds", now standing in the courtyard of the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, combine fact, fiction and physical presence to invoke collective memory and blend in well with the environment.
