In partnership with Hong Kong Graphics Society
To promote the development of the art of printmaking, strengthen cultural interflows in the regions, and enhance the public's interest in and understanding of the art, the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre has partnered with the Hong Kong Graphics Society to organize this print art residency project from May to November. A series of public programmes including demonstrations and open studio sessions by printmakers from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Macau are arranged at the printmaking studio of the Visual Arts Centre to facilitate communications among artists and visitors. Printmakers completed their residencies included Shan Dan and Wu Enqi from China, Sou Pui-kun from Macau, Chen Hua-chun from Taiwan, Patrick Ford and Liu Cheng-mui from Hong Kong. The programmes in November are as below. Those interested are most welcome to attend. Admission is free and on a first-come-first-served basis. Number of participants for each session is limited to 20.
