After living in Shanghai for five years, Stefano Mangini, an Italian photographer and author, fulfills his dream¡Gto ride back home, in Italy, by motorcycle. A trip of four and a half months and 25,000 km through China, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece and Italy.

The images of Stefano's dream won't just be photographs to the eyes of the viewer, but a journey through five of the most beautiful civilizations ever existed (Chinese, Persian, Ottoman, Greek and Roman), and through four of the main religious heritages of the world (Buddhism, Islam, Orthodox Catholic and Roman Catholic)¡Fall of this during a very sensitive historical time in the Central Asian region. The trip in fact started in April 2002 and developed through regions like Xingjian, Cashmere, and Kurdistan, just a few months after the attack to the Twin Towers in New York, while the region was shaken by the current geopolitical events.

The photographic journey will lead the viewers through the magic of these often misinterpreted countries, gaze into the eyes of their people and explore unseen aspects and perspectives.
