Notes for Applicants Previous  


1.
For application, please send, fax or bring in person a completed application form to the Art Promotion Office, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, 7A Kennedy Road, Central. (Fax 2501 4703) Please include copies of verifying documents for those applicants entitled to discounted fees.

2.
Only one application form is accepted for each person. (Applicants may select more than one course on the same form.)

3.
Incomplete application forms and materials will not be accepted.

4.
Except stated otherwise, all application forms received before 5:30 pm on the closing date of application will be processed in one lot. If applications received are in excess of the maximum capacity, a draw will be conducted at Level 5,Iinformation Counter of the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre at 3:00 pm on the following working day to determine the successful applicants.

5.
Registration for any remaining vacancy will be arranged, on a first-come-first-served basis, until two working days before the relevant programme begins. The office reserves the right to cancel any courses if there are insufficient applicants.

6.
Successful applicants will receive a payment notification. Please send or bring in person, two working days prior to the commencement of each course, a separate crossed cheque for each course payable to the HKSAR Government to the Art Promotion Office, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, 7A Kennedy Road, Central. Please mark the name of applicant and programme title at the back of each cheque.

7.
Fees from successful applicants are not refundable in case of withdrawal.

8.
No notifications will be given to unsuccessful applicants.

9.
Due to course arrangements and the safety use of the art studios, applicants with disabilities please call 2521 3008 for more information before applying.

Inclement Weather Arrangement    

Programme for Family/Kindergarten/Primary School/Special School/Child Centre/Eldery Centre:

1.
Typhoon Signal No. 3/Red Rainstorm Warning
Programmes scheduled for the day on which the signal is hoisted will be cancelled.

Nor will any programme be held on the day on which the signal is lowered.

Programmes already in progress will continue.

2.
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above
Programmes scheduled for the day on which the signal is hoisted will be cancelled, nor will any programmes be held on the day on which the signal is lowered.

3.
Black Rainstorm Warning
Programmes scheduled for the day on which the signal is hoisted will be cancelled, nor will any programmes be held on the day on which the signal is lowered.

Programmes already in progress will continue.


Programme for Adult/Secondary School /Post-secondary School

1.
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above
Programmes scheduled for the day on which the signal is hoisted will be cancelled, nor will any programmes be held on the day on which the signal is lowered.

2.
Black Rainstorm Warning
If black rainstorm warning is hoisted 3 hours before the activity commences, the activity will be cancelled.

If black rainstorm warning is lowered 3 hours before the activity commence, the activity will be resumed as normal.

Programmes already in progress will continue.
