Ceramic Studios

Two studios of 159.5m² in total. The studios are designed for different kinds of ceramic works. There are standing and seated electric potter's wheels for artists and wheel-chair users to work comfortably and efficiently. Advanced electric kilns are also provided with good air ventilation. Also available are electric clay mixer and pugmill as well as various auxiliary tools.

Sculpture Studios

Four studios of 370m² in total. The studios are designed for sculpture work of different materials. They include (1) metal welding, (2) clay and plaster modeling, (3) wood carving, and (4) stone carving. For three dimensional shaping and cutting of different kinds of wood, metals and stones, advanced power tools & motorized cutting tools are provided to increase the speed of operation and sophistication. The workshop also has professional cutting machines and welding machines for joining or soldering iron, copper aluminum and other materials.

Print Making Studios

Three studios of 308.5m² in total. The studios are for making (1) intaglio, (2) planography & serigraphy, and (3) woodcut. The studios have a good ventilation system. There are different facilities and equipment such as an aquatint chamber, a hot plate, a fume chamber, suction hand printers, a vacuum exposure frame, a fiber blender, a litho press and woodblock printing presses for making large quantity prints.

Exhibition Hall

Two internally linked display rooms combine to form the Exhibition Hall on Level 5 of VAC. It occupies an area of 218m² and provides an ideal venue for a variety of art displays. Apart from a number of simple display cases, the walls are mounted with panels for the display of art objects.

Lecture Theatre

The Lecture Theatre on the Level 4 has a seating capacity of 70. It is equipped with comfortable seats, slide projectors, LCD projectors audio and video systems. The Theatre of an area of 111m² is ideal for holding lecture, seminar, forum and teaching purposes.

Multi-purpose Room/Studio

The Multi-purpose Room occupies an area of 33m² and the Multi-purpose Studio an area of 81.5m² . They are equipped with tables, chairs and basins to cater for the functions such as art class, conference and various kinds of visual arts activities.
