| Park Déco | | Quarry Bay Park Presented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department Organised by Leisure Services Branch and Art Promotion Office Artistic Collaborators: Hong Kong Arts Centre and Public Art Hong Kong Parks are designed for both rest and recreation. To embellish and enliven these large spaces, we rolled out the "Park Déco" scheme at Quarry Bay Park on 12 May 2011, which aims to enhance visitor's experience with artistic furniture and a new signage system. Three sets of art furniture, namely, Assembled Topology by Douglas Ho, Musical Chair by Daniel Hui and Branches by Cyrus Chung and a set of signage by Kenji Chow and Chun Young installed at the Quarry Bay Park. Cornwall Street Park Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department Co-organised by the Leisure Services Branch, the Art Promotion Office and the Architectural Services Department Design Collaborator: Hong Kong Design Centre The "Park Déco – Cornwall Street Park" project is intended to give a face lift to the signage and furniture of the Cornwall Street Park. It features a holistic design– oriented approach with a view to establish a set of design principles for application to other public parks in Hong Kong in the future. Thanks to the Hong Kong Design Centre, the Architectural Services Department and participating designers Denise Chan, Christopher Lau, Joshua Lau, Brian Lee and William Lim who collaborated with the LCSD on this project, as well as Billy Tam as the Appointed Curator. Artworks Dream Falls, Urbanmat, Living Inside-out and Urban Oasis completed in September 2012. |  |  |  | |
