關於優人劇團
============
優人劇團（優劇場）創立於1988年。從創團開始，優人劇團就以台北近郊木柵老泉山上的露天劇場為基地。團員平日訓練和排練都在這看似簡陋但環境清幽的劇場內進行。他們在大自然劇場練習太極、武術和擊鼓，並像修行者般靜坐，透過靜坐的自我觀照，在紛亂的世界中維持內心的寧靜。十五年來，優人劇團堅持走一條結合「道」(追尋生命根本意義)與「藝」(實踐生活美學)的藝術之路，希望透過鼓聲，帶給觀眾不同的生命體驗，以及最深層的感動。

About U Theatre
=============
U Theatre was founded in 1988 with a desire to introduce traditional cultural elements into modern theatrical performances. Every day, members of U Theatre come to their Laochuan Mountain Theatre to practice tai chi, martial arts, drumming and most important of all, to meditate. Through the introspection of meditation, members of U Theatre achieve their inner peace in a world of chaos and confusion. U Theatre believes that the combination of Tao (self-improvement) and Art is the goal of life and artistic creation. Members of U Theatre have one simple wish: to bring a sense of inner peace to the world through the sound of their heavenly drums.

關於《金剛心》
=============
在藏傳佛教中，金剛心菩薩代表智慧，其身潔白，其性堅固如金剛，象徵人本來就具有菩提心，清淨無染；然而無明和愚癡，使得人內在的「金剛心」不是被蒙蔽，就是被削弱了，以致於生命找不到著力點。《金剛心》是一個開始，一個想要去了解自己的開始。《金剛心》以武術、擊鼓為經，舞蹈、梵唱為緯，隨著精準的擊鼓節奏，劇團團員將身體舞／武動，發展成勇士的修行之路。

About "Meeting with Vajrasattva"
==========================
Vajrasattva is the god of wisdom in Tibetan Buddhism. "Meeting with Vajrasattva" is about the journey of a man who faces his fear into the unknown territory, a journey from questioning everything to accepting everything. "Meeting with Vajrasattva" is also an awe-inspiring visual feast made up of martial arts, drumming, dance and chanting. With well-choreographed body movements and a precise sense of rhythm, U Theatre has picked up where The Sound of Ocean left off, taking the audience on another journey of enlightenment and self-realisation in their search for Vajrasattva.

關於《聽海之心》
===============
《聽海之心》是一個關於「水」的作品，是心中的「水」的生命。從小水滴，匯成河流，流向大海，流進海心，再流向超越海心的「未知」。《聽海之心》嘗試在「未知」當中去尋找對生命的了悟。

About "The Sound of Ocean"
=======================
"The Sound of Ocean" is about "water", or the life of "water" that exists in the heart. From small drops to flowing rivers, water finds its way to the ocean, then flows into the heart of the ocean and further into the "unknown". This is the kind of enlightenment this performance tries to discover in the "unknown".

香港武術聯會成立於一九八七年，以團結全港武術界弘揚中華武術，使武術走向世界為宗旨。創會至今，武術紮根香港邁向世界，創出顯著成績，被評定為本港重點發展的體育項目。

香港武術聯會是中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會、國際武術聯合會、亞州武術聯合會會員，致力亞洲武術界的合作與友誼，成功使武術成為亞州運動會、東亞運動會、東南亞運動會的比賽項目。並以協助亞武聯推廣武術的成功經驗，配合國際武聯推動武術晉身奧運會。

About Hong Kong Wushu Union
==========================
"Hong Kong Wushu Union" was founded in 1987. The Union aims at uniting various local Wushu (martial arts) groups to promote martial arts to the international world. Having her base in Hong Kong, the Union's work throughout these years has been recognized by the society and Wushu has been selected as one of the highlights in local sports development.

The Union is the member of Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, International Wushu Federation, and Asian Wushu Federation. Aiming at creating cooperation opportunities amongst various Wushu groups in Asia, the Union successfully introduced Wushu into the Asian Games, the East Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games as an official competition item. The Union also work closely with the International Wushu Federation to introduce Wushu into the Olympic Games.

關於中國武術
============
中國武術源遠流長，形式多變多釆。時至今日，武術不但是一項強身健體，有益身心的體育活動，更是一門能陶冶性情的藝術。是次中國武術表演包括一連串精釆項目：劍術、刀術、棍術、槍術、拳術及對擊等，為觀眾呈現中國武術靈動多變，剛柔並重的特質。

About Chinese Wushu

Chinese Wushu has a long history and a great variety in its forms. Wushu is not only a sport for exercising physical strength but also an artistic form which enlightens one's mind and soul. Our performance will show you the vividness and great variety of Chinese Wushu including various martial art forms like sword, sabre, cudgel, spear, fists fights and armed sparring.
