為慶祝中華人民共和國成立五十七周年，於 二零零六年十月一日 ( 星期日 ) 晚上九時十五分，在維多利亞港上空，舉行國慶煙花匯演， 歷時 23分鐘；是次煙花匯演由觀瀾湖高爾夫球會贊助及民政事務局統籌。

In celebration of the 57 th anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China , a 23-minute 2006 National Day Fireworks Display will be held on 1 October 2006 , Sunday, at 9:15 pm at the Victoria Harbour The fireworks display is sponsored by the Mission Hills Golf Club and coordinated by the Home Affairs Bureau.
