A tough soccer player, Akkie prepares for the transit to high school with her mates, only to discover just before the tournament that she has leukaemia. However that does not stop Akkie who battles her disease like a true champion. Her parents, buddies, teachers and doctor are all moved by her resolve. Yet when faced with the bully who always picks on her in class, Akkie is scared of her own romantic feelings.
