Before Ip Man, there were Leung Tsang and Chan Wah-shun. In his second outing as director, Sammo Hung also takes an integral supporting role, playing the Leung disciple who introduces Chan – known as Cashier Wah in the film – to the Wing Chun master. Through the eyes of Wah, Hung teaches you everything you need to know about the art of Wing Chun, starting with the philosophies and basic moves like "hand trapping forms" and “the six and a half point pole”. In the final 20 minutes, Hung puts the lesson into practice, as the two Leung disciples use everything they know in a spectacular finale that pits Wing Chun against an assorted group of villains from other styles. If you think Ip Man is impressive, wait until you see his masters in action!
