Former SWAT team member Tat (Jackie Chan) who loves seafaring takes care of his mentally retarded elder brother (Sammo Hung). One day, Tat receives a job offer from a shipping company and has to choose between his brother and his dream. Shedding his heroic image, Hung plays the bullied retarded brother brilliantly, giving a breakthrough performance. In a departure from his stereotyped unflinching characters, Jackie Chan also gives a subtle interpretation of his role. Later, he has to go to prison after saving his elder brother, but has no regrets. The fraternal love portrayed is extremely touching. The film also has its fill of exciting fight and car chase scenes. The meticulous action choreography and camera movement combined with an appropriate amount of drama result in a new departure for the two action superstars.
