An Emerging Modernity: Looking Back on the Cinema of the 1960s

The silver screen of the 1960s was filled with rebellious youthful energies as the society was marred by social unrest and political oppression. This exhibition aims to link Hong Kong Cinema with the historical and social spectrum 1960s and to inspire new dialogues on Hong Kong’s unique experience via movie images.
