About The Three Kingdoms
To recapture the city of Jing Zhou, Zhou Yu lures Liu Bei across the river to take a wife, arranging an ambush by his army at Sweet Dew Temple. With the protection of Zhao Yun and the help of Qiao Xuan, Zhou’s plan to have Sun Shang-xiang seduce Liu Bei fails, as Sun indeed falls in love with and marries Liu Bei.

Liu and Sun enjoy their lives so much that he spares not a thought for his own country. Zhao Yun breaks into the palace, carrying with him written advice from the military councillor to be used only in an emergency, and urges Liu to straighten up. Sun understands what is right. She steals the permit and accompanies Liu back across the river. They scare away Zhou Yu’s forces, and all successfully board the boat arranged by Zhu Ge-liang, enraging Zhou Yu who chases after them.

Zhou switches to another strategy to take down Jing Zhou: he plans to ask Liu for a favour to pass through his country to invade another country, but then to attack Liu’s country on his return. However, Zhu Ge-liang sees through his plan, and orders Zhao Yun to lead Huang Zhong and Wei Yan to meet Zhou’s army head on. Zhou is defeated and becomes separated from his forces. He ends up in Lu Hua Dang and is tricked many times by Zhang Fei, who has been ordered to keep watch there. Exhausted and humbled, Zhou has no choice but to run away.
