Booking Procedures of Civic Centres

Booking Arrangements
Applications for ordinary bookings are accepted not less than 3 months and up to 7 months in advance of the month in which the functions are held. All late applications are received each week and processed collectively. If an even longer lead-time is required, applications for special bookings must be submitted at least 8 months prior to the month in which the functions are held.

Hire Charges Reduction Scheme
Non-profit-making organizations or bona-fide non-profit-making district organizations hiring facilities of the civic centres may apply for reduction of hire charges. Application forms can be obtained from the civic centres. Moreover, hirers can enjoy a 50% discount for the hiring of lecture room and conference room from 9am to 6pm on Mondays to Fridays.

Incentive Booking Scheme for Exhibition Gallery
To promote local economy by facilitating the organization of exhibitions and/or sales of exhibits, LCSD now offers the following concessions:

	•	A 50% discount for bookings during 9am to 8pm for holding of exhibitions from Mondays to Thursdays (except public holidays)
	•	No surcharge for events with admission charges and/or sale of exhibits as well as subletting / involvement of more than one commercial organizations

District Arts and Cultural Activities Venue Sponsorship

Eligible non-profit making district arts organizations may apply for District Arts and Cultural Activities Venue Sponsorship.
