"Be True to Yourself"
On a bare stage, a director is casting for chorus roles of a new play. For this chance of a lifetime, a group of dancers put what they have worked for on the chorus line. It is the one opportunity to do what they have always dreamed. In the last round of the audition, the 17 dancers are told to tell their stories about their sweetness and sorrow of their lives...
A CHORUS LINE, the musical for everyone who's ever had a dream and put it all on the line, is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical. It had run for 6,137 performances, remaining the sixth longest running Broadway show ever, and was revived on Broadway in 2006.
