If "only the most unscrupulous can get to the top", then why should we insist on being good?
- a revelation about the worth of beauty-and-good through the most wicked story of lust.
"A strong sense of high drama runs throughout the play, and succeeds in capturing the undivided attention of the audience from beginning to end. An outstanding feat indeed."
- Dr. Cheung Ping-kuen, Head of Liberal Arts Studies, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Crime and beauty-and-good are sometimes only a hairline apart. The moment of lost control might fall into prediction eternally. A property agent, Mr Wong, discovers in an apartment with an en suite bedroom a video that shows a woman having sex with a man in that room. When he tries to find out more about the video, he is stunned by what unfolds…
SEVEN was premiered in 2004 and was so popular that a rerun immediately followed, and it received positive audience response. Now eight years later, the Artistic Director of the group, Yatyau, decides to use the same plot to write a new script with new staging and the latest scenography, in a bid to show the audience how a very popular play can continue to grow in leaps and bounds.
