In the beginning of 2022/23 season, Damrau has embarked on a European tour with Xavier de Maistre and has presented her new Christmas album.  At the Easter Festival Baden-Baden in April 2023, she interprets Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder with Berliner Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko.

Recording exclusively for Warner/Erato, Damrau made her recording debut Arie di Bravura for a collection of Mozart and Salieri arias.  Subsequent solo releases were awarded the ECHO and the OPUS Klassik prize amongst others.  Furthermore, she features on various complete opera recordings on both CD and DVD.

Honored as the Bavarian Kammersängerin in 2007, Damrau is also the recipient of the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art in 2010 and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2021.  She has also been selected Singer of the Year by Opernwelt, Opera News, Gramophone Editor’s Choice and International Opera Award.
