Debussy - Nature, Art & Music

The ‘Debussy Year’ celebration will conclude with the most celebratory piano concert of the season, ‘Children’s Corner’, a three-hour mini piano marathon with Debussy’s best loved piano music for everyone, old and young, boys and girls. Apart from the title piece, the suite Children’s Corner, 25 young pianists from The Academy for Performing Arts will play for you Arabesques, Suite Bergamasque, selections from Estampes, Images, Pour le piano, Préludes, and also for piano duet, the Petite Suite, and much more. With the music will be videos, providing an extra visual element. There will also be an exhibition with information about Debussy, painting, and images. There may also be the opportunity to draw your own Impressionistic work there. You are invited to come and enjoy an afternoon of delightful music in the festive season.
