Francesca Chan graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and holds a Fellowship of Trinity College London with specialisms in Voice and Piano. She was coached by famous teachers in France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United States and the United Kingdom, and has taught at the Music Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. With a fine gift for languages, she has a large and extensive repertoire which she expresses with an elegantly beautiful voice. Her good understanding of the stylistic nuances and the in-depth emotions of various composers are expressed through her consummate vocal techniques. As a performer, she is capable of interacting well with the audience. Chan has performed in many places around the world, covering Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, China and various Asian cities, and the works she has performed involve ten different languages. She is adept in the execution of both Chinese and western works, and with her clear, sparkling and expressive voice she has found a place among the fine singers in the West. She has performed with many choral groups in chamber music works which range from the classical to the contemporary. She has also given demonstration-recitals in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, the United States and other places in Southeast Asia.
