Programme Details

Many people are fascinated about Mahler’s music. It is not only the melody, structure or the orchestration of the music itself that attracts them but the whole world comprehended in it. In the Forum, the moderator and the speakers will share their personal ‘Mahler’ experience, exchange their understanding of Mahler and discuss the thoughts and inspirations originated from the composer. The Forum provides a chance for in-depth discussion on a composer who has come to mean so much to the modern world.

Running time of the forum is about 1 hour 30 minutes with no intermission. 

Audience are strongly advised to arrive punctually.  No latecomers will be admitted until a suitable break in the programme.

Half-price tickets available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and the minder, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (Limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first-come-first-served basis).
