The Story

The little mermaid has fallen deeply in love with a prince from the mortal world, and is willing to exchange her beautiful voice for the sea-witch’s magic potion that can turn her fishtail into human legs. The prince fortuitously meets the little mermaid on the golden shore. He is smitten with the lovely mute girl, but when they are about to get married in a wedding ceremony, the evil sea-witch changes into the little mermaid and approaches the prince while singing a beautiful tune. The prince falls for the imposter with the golden voice. Having lost the love of the prince, the sweet little mermaid returns, heart-broken, to the sea, and turns herself into a beautiful sea-flower that blooms in silence...
