The Arts Group

Shu Ning Presentation Unit (SNPU) is a professional multi-media arts organization in Hong Kong. Its works include theatre production, video production, installation art exhibition and publication. Since its establishment in 1997, SNPU has continuously participated in the Hong Kong Arts Festival and other overseas arts festivals. In 2005, SNPU was selected as the Artist-in-residence of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, and the unit has entered its 15th anniversary of establishment this year. The mission of the unit is to create multi-disciplinary art work for Hong Kong, with the expectation to stimulate collaboration among the artists from different art forms; and to incubate young generations’ participation in the arts and theatre.

In addition to stage performances, SNPU has a good reputation among the fields and is highly respected. The unit is often commissioned for different types of production, such as documentaries, music videos, advertising, commercial stage and comedy performances. SNPU continues to explore new stage possibilities, hoping to put together various elements of the stage and create vast scales of fascinating productions.
