China Dance Forward provides a platform for aspiring choreographers from Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong to present their works and exchange their ideas. Through an open call, we have selected top dance makers of the next generation across the country to meet and perform in Hong Kong. Hailing from Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xian, Nanjing, Zhengzhou and Changde, their works exhibit their exploration of “Chinese Dance in a contemporary context”.

Running time of this performance is about 1.5 hours with intermission

Audiences are strongly advised to arrive punctually. No latecomers will be admitted until a suitable break in the programme
