Introduction to Music of North India

Bollywood, Taj Mahal, Q Bobo, snake charmer, and curry food --- are these some of all your vivid impressions about India? How about Indian music? The Music Office is arranging an exhibition entitled "Introduction to Music of North India" from October to December 2013 in the following public libraries, to guide you through a musical journey by introducing the socio-cultural background, concepts, performing types and instruments of North Indian music. Apart from a full set of exhibition panels with illustration and pictures, audio devices will be set-up for the spectators to listen to the unique music sound of India. Admission to the event is free. All interested parties are welcome.
