As the Music Office celebrates its 35th Anniversary this year, 600 young musicians from the bands, choirs and orchestras and some of its wind trainees will take the stage to perform in this massive music gathering. Awards will also be presented in the Annual Gala to the most outstanding trainees and members of its bands, choirs and orchestras of 2011/12.
Diversified concert repertoire ranging from the 19th to 21st century will be presented in the Gala, where special highlight will be given to Joseph Koo’s Music for the Millions which serves as a remembrance of Music Office’s contribution in promotion of music, commitment in music education throughout the past 35 years to bring up the next generation of young musicians in Hong Kong.
