Special Film Show


For promoting film culture and enhancing the new generation's awareness of Hong Kong's cinematic heritage to the new generation, the Hong Kong Film Archive has selected about 10 films to be specially screened to student groups. Schools interested in viewing these special screenings may apply for group tickets.

Criteria of applicant
All primary schools, secondary schools, post-secondary institutes, universities are eligible to apply.


Ticket charge and quota
Charge for each ticket is $10. Minimum purchase per special screening is 40 tickets, maximum number is 125 tickets. Staff of applicant should also buy tickets for admission.

Screening date
Screening date is subject to discussion with the Hong Kong Film Archive. To ensure availability of the Cinema on the Applicant's preferred date and time of screening, please contact Miss Fung at 2119 7381 or by email to: kkkfung@lcsd.gov.hk before submitting the Application Form.

Application procedure
Application form should be submitted one to three months before proposed date of screening by mail or fax to Miss Fung of Hong Kong Film Archive. (Fax: 2311 5229)

(Personal data of the Applicant provided in the application form will only be used for processing of application for special film show group tickets only.)

Confirmation of application
The Hong Kong Film Archive will reply the applicant by fax or mail if application is approved.

Payment
The Applicant should settle payment four weeks or earlier before the scheduled screening date. It can be paid in cash at the Archive, or by cheque. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to "The Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" or "The Government of HKSAR", and mail it to Hong Kong Film Archive, 50 Lei King Road, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong.
