Q: Where is the Hong Kong Film Archive?
A: 50 Lei King Road, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong. For a location map and further details, please refer to the webpage HERE.
   
Q: What are the opening hours of the Archive?
A: Daily (except Tuesday) from 10am to 8pm, or 15 minutes after the end of the last screening.
The Archive is closed on Tuesdays (except Public Holidays) and the first two days of the Chinese New Year.
* Closed at 5pm on Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year's Eve.

Box Office:
Daily (except Tuesday) from 12nn to 8pm, or 15 minutes after the commencement of the last screening.

Resource Centre:
Monday to Friday (except Tuesday): 10am to 7pm
Saturday: 10am to 5pm
Sunday and Public Holiday: 1pm to 5pm

Exhibition Hall:
Opens only when an exhibition is running. Admission is free. Please refer to our programme updates.
Daily (except Tuesday) from 10am to 8pm.
   
Q: Are the books and publications at the Resource Centre available for loan?
A: All items in the Resource Centre are not for loan. Patrons are requested to make use of them inside the Centre.
   
Q: Do we have to pay for the exhibitions held at the Archive?
A: Admission is free for all exhibitions.
   
Q: Are there any seats for wheelchair users in the Archive cinema?
A: Yes, there are four wheelchair seats.
   
Q: How to purchase publications published by the Archive?
A: Publications are available for sale at the Box Office of the Archive (12nn to 8pm; closed on Tuesdays; cash only), and Postshop at General Post Office, Central (8am to 6pm, except Sundays & Public Holidays). Other sales outlets include The Commercial Press (HK) Ltd, Chung Hwa Book Co (HK) Ltd, Joint Publishing (HK) Co Ltd, Luck Win Bookstore, Man's Book Company, Cosmos Books Ltd, Kubrick (Broadway Cinematheque), Mackie Study Limited (Causeway Bay and Hong Kong Arts Centre). Overseas orders can be placed online through Hongkong Post.
