Introduction

Free Programmes To encourage community participation in the arts, a wide range of free programmes are organized by the Centre. Regular programmes include "Thursday Happy Hour¡¨, "Saturday Arts Delights" and "Lunchtime Pipe Organ Concerts" on selected Saturdays each month. Outdoor programmes of various natures are also held on special weekends and public holidays at the harbour front piazza.

Programme Proposals for Foyer
Performances

The Hong Kong Cultural Centre welcomes proposals for foyer performances from established artists/artist groups. Generally, a proposal should include the biography/background of the artist/group, reviews and recordings (audio/ video) of past performances, a description of the proposed performance, the proposed date and the proposed fee with a breakdown of cost. Proposals should preferably reach the Hong Kong Cultural Centre five to six months in advance. It would be difficult to consider proposals with less than four months' notice. Artistic merit, audience appeal and balance of programme are the major considerations for the selection of artist proposals.

Proposals should be faxed or mailed to the Manager (Audience Building), Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
