One Hundred Years of Solitude
has been Zuni Icosahedron's repertoire since the Group's
inception in the early eighties. The series has been
inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Nobel Prize winning
novel. In the past twenty years, the production has
undergone significant metamorphosis with new perspectives
and alternative interpretations constructed for each
version: First Year Magic Caravan, Second Year
From a Past Event to a Prophecy, Third Year
Long March, Fourth Year October, Fifth
Year The Last Stage, Sixth Year Days and
Nights of Abstinence, Seventh Year Mirage
and Eighth Year Viva.
