| Tango Por Dos (Argentina) |

Sexy, sensual and sinuous... tango is like a fleeting fling - passionate and dangerous. The tension is both alluring and breathtaking. Dubbed "the world ambassador for Argentina's national social dance", Miguel Angel Zotto dares you to join his critically acclaimed dance company Tango Por Dos for their compelling new show Tango Una Leyenda (Tango: The Legend). Embark on a journey that charts the history and moving stories behind the world's most captivating dance.
In the past century, tango made its way from the streets to bars, from South American ports to big European cities, from exclusive Parisian clubs to Broadway. The 1920s marked the golden era of the dance. Though it lost its lustre during the 1930s Depression, the dance was revived to its former glory in the 1950s. Then in the 1970s, music composed by maestro Astor Piazzolla breathed new life into the genre, giving it added charm and character. Tango Una Leyenda features 50 different tango dances and over 100 sets of elegant costumes. Together with a great score performed by a live band of musicians and vocalists, fantastic choreography and top-notch stagecraft, this production has already dazzled audiences in London, Milan and Rome. Can you resist the temptation?
