Hong Kong's successful bid for the hosting right of the 2009 EAG is not only a great event of the Hong Kong sports community but also a great event of Hong Kong people. In order to arouse the whole community's enthusiasm for the EAG, the 2009 EAG Torch Relay will be held on 29 August. After the completion of the Torch Relay, the Organiser will hold the "Countdown to the HK 2009 EAG Show" in the evening and members of the public may watch the show through live broadcast on TVB-Jade at 7:30 pm.
